Target Audience: All Levels
Cost: $15/person
A note on the level - Jill can teach several styles of blues dancing, and can move fast if people are getting it.
For beginners, ideally you will have some experience in partner dance (extemporaneous like Swing Dance (Lindy/West Coast)/Latin/Kizomba is better than predicted patterned and more formal like Ball Room) so that you are familiar with feeling and reacting to connection and moving to music. In addition, plan for close connection so if you have personal space boundary issues, or someone has ever indicated to you that you have failed to read their boundaries, this might be challenging. If this is your first dance experience, try to make it out to one of our socials beforehand.
For experienced dancers, Jill has a wide breadth of experience in this dance, and tends to bring out something different at every presentation, so there is likely to be something in addition to the opportunity to practice your adaptation to dancing with all levels in the presence of an experienced coach.
